Hi, I'm Gabriela.

I'm a counsellor working online with adults, parents and teens across British Columbia, navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, life transitions and the impact of difficult experiences.

One of the things you'll probably notice about me is that I don't rush to conclusions. I like to slow things down, understand the lens through which you are experiencing your world, and notice the patterns or connections that can be difficult to see from inside them.

Sometimes that means listening to what your body is communicating. Sometimes it means exploring what an old way of protecting yourself is still trying to do for you today. And sometimes it means staying with something a little longer before deciding what needs to change.

I don't think awareness is the destination. I think it is where practising something new can begin.
